Wow, it’s been a busy couple of weeks.

Last Monday night, I competed in a speech contest sponsored by Toastmasters. Several area clubs, including my own got together at Sanofi-Aventis for this friendly competition. It was great fun! I delivered a humorous speech about Halloween, which had the audience rolling. This was my first contest so I didn’t know what to expect. The other speeches were amazingly funny. It was so wonderful to have the opportunity to share a funny story with folks and give them something to laugh about.

Then on Wednesday, I gave another speech at our regular Toastmasters meeting, another fun story to tell about an adventure to Hana. We have a great club with interesting members. I always enjoy listening to their speeches and participating in our meetings.

I taught Advanced Tarot and Soaring with Spirit last week. I have such wonderful students; they make my job easy and enjoyable. It’s so great to talk with them about the subject matter, discussing alternate meanings and possibilities. 

I started taking an acting class this week. It was fun and different. And I’m participating in a career workshop, which is really interesting and motivating. 

Audacious Eleven got together for a recording session on Sunday. It’s always nice to get together with the girls. We had a great session. Watch for the latest podcast.

The weather has been just terrific ! I’ve been working outside with my laptop whenever I get the opportunity.    Let’s enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm back home after a wonderful visit to the lovely isle of Maui.  The weather and scenery are always beautiful and the atmosphere is so welcoming.  The Aloha Spirit fills the air helping visitors and locals alike to connect with Spirit. 

We had a great view from our lanai.  Our room sat above the pool with exotic palms and flowering plumeria trees.  Even the shrubs which line the path to the beach, are sprinkled with sweet scented flowers.  From our lanai we could see the calm yet powerful ocean, which was sometimes speckled with kayaks or sailboats. 

After a refreshing respite, I'm happy to be home and back to my classes.  I’ll be teaching Advanced Tarot tonight and Soaring with Spirit this Sunday.  And I’m looking forward to teaching a new season of Embracing Spirit which starts in September.
